Creating Dashboards


DTV organizes dashboard pages by using projects. Therefore, you must first create a project to hold any dashboard pages that you want to create.

Prerequisites


You need to be assigned the required asset permission and operation permission, and a menu group containing the DTV Center > Dashboards menu. If not assigned, contact the application administrator.

Creating a Dashboard


Create a page by following these steps:

  1. Select DTV Center > Dashboards from the navigation pane.

  2. There are two ways to create a page:

    • Select New Page.

      Note

      There must be an existing project.

    • Select an existing project. Select the empty card with a plus sign in the middle.

  3. Complete the following configurations in the pop-up window:

  • Name: Enter the name of the page.

  • Belonged Group: Select a group within the permission. If you do not have permission to view any group, please contact the OU administrator to assign group resource permissions to the current account.

  • Project: Select 1 project under the group, or create a new project under the group. The page will be located in the project. Only accounts with project resource permissions can view the pages in the project.

  • Template (optional): Create pages by using templates. Only accounts with template category permissions can use templates under the template category. If you do not have permission to use any template, please contact the OU administrator to assign template classification resource permissions to the current account.

  • Responsive Mode: Select the mode in which the page opens, which determines the proportion of the page.

  • Tags (optional): Select a tag for the page from the list or create a tag.

4. Select OK to create a page.
