Managing Page Templates¶
The Template Center provides two types of page templates — Dashboard Templates and Single-Page App Templates — which can serve as a foundation for creating pages, helping standardize page styles and reuse configurations. This article explains how to manage templates in the Template Center and how to use them in practice.
Prerequisites¶
Ensure you have the permission of a group. Viewing, editing, and using templates, as well as creating templates within a group, all require the group permissions. For more information, see Managing Groups. To request permissions, contact the group administrator.
Accessing Template Center¶
From the DTV Center, open the Template Center on the right side.
Three tabs appear at the top of the page: Dashboard Templates, Single-Page App Templates, and Widget Templates. Switch between tabs to view templates of each type.
The left panel displays the list of groups and folders you have access to. Within a group, you can use folders to organize templates by category. After selecting a folder, all templates in that folder are displayed on the right.
Creating Page Templates¶
Creating a Dashboard Template¶
Switch to the Dashboard Templates tab and select + New Dashboard Template.
Configure the basic information in the dialog, then enter the editing interface to design the template content. The configuration steps are the same as Creating Dashboards.
After saving, the template appears in the current folder’s list.
Creating a Single-Page App Template¶
Switch to the Single-Page App Templates tab and select + New Single-Page App Template.
Configure the template content on the page. The configuration steps are the same as Creating a Single-Page App.
After saving, the template appears in the current group’s list.
Both template list pages support creating New folders within a group to categorize templates.
Saving a Page as a Template¶
In the dashboard or single-page app configuration interface, after finishing your page design, select Save > Save as Template to save the existing page as a template for later reuse.

Using Page Templates¶
Creating a Dashboard from a Template¶
Option 1: Create directly from Template Center
In the Config
icon on a dashboard template card, select New Dashboard. The system creates a dashboard based on that template, and you can make further modifications in the editing interface.
Option 2: Select a template when creating a dashboard
Start the Creating Dashboard workflow.
In the Template selection step, browse the list of available templates and select the target template.
Complete the remaining configuration and confirm. The new dashboard will be based on the selected template.
Creating a Single-Page App from a Template¶
Option 1: Create directly from the Template Center
In the Config
icon on a single-page app template card, select New Single-Page App. The system creates a single-page app based on that template, and you can make further modifications in the editing interface.
Option 2: Update an existing page from a template
In the configuration page of an existing single-page app, you can apply a template’s content to the current page:
Open the target single-page app’s configuration page.
In the top-right Others menu, select the Update from Template option.
Browse and select the target template. The system will update the current page configuration with the content of the selected template.
Note
This operation overwrites the current page’s related configuration. It is recommended to save the current draft before proceeding. To undo the template override, you can roll back to a historical version.
