Configuring Static Data Sources¶

A static data source is used to import local or preset static tabular data. It is suitable for scenarios such as metric dictionaries, enumeration values, demonstrations, and testing. For a static data source, you must first configure and import the static data, and then create a dataset for it so that page widgets can use it.

Procedure¶

Go to DTV Center > Data Sources.
On the External Data Sources tab, select + New Data Source, and select Static Data as the Type.
Enter the Name of the data source and select OK. A static data source does not require cache configuration.
Select the Dataset of the data source in the list, and refer to Configuring Datasets to configure and use the dataset.
