Managing Alert Rule Packages


EOC supports to view and manage alert rule packages in unified list, including: eedit, delete and export.

Prerequisites


Before you start, make sure that the user account has been assigned the required permissions. If you need to be assigned, please contact the Organization Admin.

Editing Alert Rule Packages


You can edit alert rule packages with the following steps.

  1. Log in to the EOC and select Alerts > Alert Rules > Import/Export in the left navigation bar.

  2. On the import/export alert rule package list page, select the target rule package and click edit.

  3. On the edit alert rule package information page, complete the rule package changes.

    • Package Name: Enter the name of the alert rule package to be modified.

    • Description: Enter the description of the modified rule package.

    • Business Topology: Select the business topology that needs to be modified, and the alerting rules belonging to the selected business topology will be included in the packing scope.

  4. Click Save.

Deleting Alert Rule Packages

Note

The rule package will not be restored after deletion.


You can delete alert rule packages with the following steps.

  1. Log in to the EOC and select Alerts > Alert Rules > Import/Export in the left navigation bar.

  2. On the import/export alert rule package list page, select the target rule package and click delete.

  3. The system will pop up confirmation notification, click OK to delete it.

Exporting Alert Rule Packages


You can export alert rule packages with the following steps.

  1. Log in to the EOC and select Alerts > Alert Rules > Import/Export in the left navigation bar.

  2. On the import/export alert rule package list page, select the target rule package and click export.
