Silence¶

When a deployment or upgrade event occurs the monitor management module will generate a large number of alert events that are expected to occur and operations staff do not need to accept alert notifications. When a silence rule is effective, no alert notification is triggered for alert events. This subsection shows how monitor admins set up silence for alert events.
