Creating Alert Rule Packages


To facilitate the management of batch alert rules, you can create new alert rule packages.

Prerequisites


Before you start, make sure that the user account has been assigned the required permissions. If you need to be assigned, please contact the Organization Admin.

Procedure

To facilitate it, you can create a new alert rule package through the system or upload an alert rule package which contains a certain number of alert rules from local.

Creating Alert Rule Packages


You can create alert rule packages with the following steps.

  1. Log in to the EOC and select Alerts > Alert Rules > Import/Export in the left navigation bar.
  2. Click Create Package on the import/export alert rule page to complete the configuration of the rule package information.
    • Package Name: Required, enter the name of the alert rule package, with the maximum of 48 characters including English case, numbers and special characters ( -, _, **. ** ).
    • Description: Optional, enter a description of the rule package, up to 256 characters.
    • Business Topology: Required, select the business topology according to the current organization, and the alert rules belonging to the selected business topology will be included in the package.
  3. Click Save.

Importing Alert Rule Packages


You can import alert rule packages with the following steps.

  1. Log in to the EOC and select Alerts > Alert Rules > Import/Export in the left navigation bar.

  2. Click the import icon import.

  3. On the rule package import page, different alert rule types have different import package formats. Fill in the import data according to the information of the new alert rule. For more information, see Creating Alert Rules

  4. Click or drag and drop the file to the area to upload , the system will automatically verify, click Submit after successful verification.

    Note

    The required information of the imported alert rules must be filled in completely, otherwise the import fails.

Results

After the alert rule package is successfully created or imported, you can view the details in the import/export rule list and do the following operations.
