Multi-Select Dropdown


The multi-select dropdown filters enables you to predefine the filter options and display them in a multi-select dropdown list.

You can configure the multi-select dropdown filter by following these steps:

  1. From the Option Type list, select one of the following options:
    • Self-defined: Manually define the filtering value
    • From Data Source: Choose the filtering variable and value from a data source
  2. If Self-defined is selected:
    1. Click Add to add a new filter option.
    2. In the name column, specify the name of the filter option.
    3. In the value column, specify the filtering value.
  3. If From Data Source is selected:
    1. Select the data source [1]
    2. Select the dataset [1]
    3. In the name column, select the data field that holds the names of the filter options.
      These names will be displayed to the users.
    4. In the value column, select the data field that holds the filtering values.
      These values are used by DTV for filtering.
