Managing Topologies


EnOS Onboarding Tool topology trees are one of the following two types:

  • Independent topology: As a complete topology tree, the top node of the independent topology is the root node of the topology tree, and objects can be customized according to topology rules. The PV A a site node and its sub-nodes are part of the PV A site, which can be viewed and managed in Site Onboarding menu on the PV A site’s Build Topology page, and synchronized to Topology menu at the same time. The rest of the nodes are considered external to the PV A site, so you need to view the topological relationship in Topology menu.
  • Branch topology: As a branch of a topology tree, the top node of the branch topology is not the topology tree’s root node, so all assigned assets start from the second level. As the top-level node, PV B can only mount the devices, components, and groups within the site. It can only be viewed and managed in Site Onboarding menu on the PV B site’s Build Topology page, while other nodes cannot be viewed in Onboarding Tool. For more information, see Topology Building.
