Site Import Failure Details: if a site import fails, click View Details to view the processing status of the task and the reason for the failure.
Click New Site to start the Site Onboarding process. You can create sites, devices, components, and custom type assets, build topologies, configure connections, and map measurement points. The following section describes the components of the page using Configure Devices, Build Topology, and Configure Connections steps as examples.
Exploring Configure Devices Page¶
On the Configure Devices step page, asset administrators can create and manage devices, components, and custom type assets under the current site. The page structure is as follows.
The below describes the components of a Configure Device page:
Site Onboarding Process: view and edit the site onboarding steps.
Device/Component/Custom Type Tab: switch between Device/Component and Custom Type to create and view devices, components, and custom type assets under the site. The types of devices, components, and custom type assets that can be created in an OU are determined by the OU template.
