Point Attributes

This article introduces the attributes of the all-models point list and the single-models point list in Site Onboarding page’s Map Points step.

Attribute

Description

Source Point Name/Description

The actual measurement point name for the device in the onboarded site.

Source Point Number

The number of the source measurement point in the point list, which cannot repeat.

Value Type

The data type of source points, not applicable to Modbus devices.

Point Type

There are 5 source point types, which are:

  • AI (Analogous Input): analog input, typically numerical data.

  • DI (Digital Input): digital input, typically importing device status data.

  • PI (Pulse Input): pulse input, typically imported power calculation data.

  • AO (Analogous Output): analog output, typically numerical data.

  • DO (Digital Output): digital output, usually imported integer data representing device status.

Coefficient

The unit conversion coefficient between the source measurement point and the model measurement point, formatted as a number. For example, if the unit of active power of source measurement point is W and the unit of active power of the model measurement point in EnOS is KW, the coefficient is 0.001. The result of multiplying the source measurement point value by 0.001 is the final value. Enter 1 if the units are the same. The default value is 1.

Base Value

The value to add over the source measurement point, formatted as a number. For example, if the active power of the source measurement point is 10KW and the base value is 1KW, the final value is 11KW. The result of adding the source measurement point value to the base value is the final value. The default value is 0.

Model Points

After manual mapping, the model measurement point name mapped to the source point.

Formula

If the formula is blank, it means that the source measurement point is the actual measurement point of the device. If there is a formula, it means that the source measurement point is a measurement point calculated by the formula.
