Creating a Record


More sub-domains need to be created under the corresponding domain and configured to IP addresses.

Prerequisites


Before you start, make sure that the user account has been assigned the required permissions. If you need to be assigned, please contact the Organization Admin.

Procedure


You can create records with the following steps.

  1. Log in to the EOC and select Assets > DNS in the left navigation bar.

  2. Select the domain address of the target on the domain page.

  3. Click New Record to complete the configuration of the DNS record.

    • Type: Required, select the types of parsing betwween A and PTR.
    • Name: Required, enter the subdomain or IP address with multiple names separated by carriage returns. E.g.: test-test01.eniot.io.
    • Value: Required, enter the IP address of the DNS with multiple values separated by carriage return. E.g.: 192.168.1.1.
    • TTL: Required, enter the survival time, representing the record’s cache time on the server. The default is 3600 seconds, and the maximum can be entered as 240,000 seconds.
    • Comment: Required, enter the reason for creating a new record.
  4. Click Submit.

Results


After a record is successfully created, you can view the details in the domain list and do the following operations.
