Managing API Authorization for Applications

Based on business needs, OU administrator can set whether to authorize applications to access user information and asset data of the OU through API authorization:

  • User information: User name, email, name, and phone number
  • Asset data: Asset ID and asset name

Prerequisites

OU has in-house applications or purchased applications through Application Registration on EnOS.

Authorizing applications with API access

OU administrator can authorize an application with API access by the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Admin Console of Application Portal and select Application Management from the navigation bar.

  2. In the list of applications, find the target application, and select More > API Authorization.

  3. On the API Authorization window, select the API access to be authorized to the application.

  4. Click Submit to complete the authorization.

With the authorization, the application can access the authorized information through API.
