Managing Tags

Tags support quick search of relevant pages and templates based on tags. EnOS Digital Twin Visualization offers two types of tags.

  • Custom Tags: The tags created in this OU.
  • Public Tags: Public tags visible to all OUs.

Prerequisites

You need to be assigned the required asset permission and operation permission, and a menu group containing the DTV Tools > Tags and Dashboards > Dashboards menus. If not assigned, contact the application administrator.

Adding Tags

Add a tag by following these steps:

  1. Select DTV Tools > Tags from the left navigation pane.
  2. Select New Tags and complete the following configurations in the pop-up window and specify the Tag Name.
  3. Select OK to save the tag.

Finding Tags

  1. Select DTV Tools > Tags from the left navigation pane.
  2. In both Custom Tags and Public Tags tabs, you are able to:
    • Search for a tag by typing it out using the search bar.
    • Sort the tags in ascending or descending alphabetical order by clicking on the header Tag Name.

Note

Only tags under Custom Tags can be deleted.

Tagging Pages, Page Templates and Widget Templates

After creating the tags, you can proceed to label the pages and templates. You can label an existing page or template, or when creating one.

Tag an existing page or a template by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to their respective dashboards, locate the page card you want to configure, and hover over the Action button to open a dropdown menu.
  2. A drop-down menu will appear, select Settings.
  3. Locate the Tag configuration and select the input box.
  4. A list of existing tags will appear. Select your desired tag.
  5. (Optional) At the bottom of the list, you can specify a new tag and create it on the spot by clicking Add. It will be used immediately.
  6. (Optional) If you need to remove a tag, simply select the cross next to the tag.
  7. Select OK to save the configuration.

Note

When creating a new page or template, you will see the Tag configuration as well. It works the same way as when tagging an existing page or template.
