Target Users¶

EnOS Device Provisioning Service supports configuring and registering devices, which primarily serves the following roles.

Manufacturers¶

OEM manufacturers can encode device identity and cloud service registration URL based on the attestation mechanism used to identify each of the device which can be used later on device provisioning procedure in a secured manner.

Device Installation Vendors¶

Device installation vendors can install and activate devices onsite. During activation, installation onsite information can be maintained for devices creation.

Device Operators¶

Device operators can manage the device lifecycle based on records of registered master data groups and their allocation status, including re-provisioning and replacement, and dispatch the devices to global clients.

Eco-partners¶

Eco-partners can embed device identity and cloud service registration URL in devices which ensure the devices can securely connect to cloud.
