Troubleshooting Control Panel Issues¶
This page describes how to troubleshoot problems encountered in the process of issuing control commands from the control panel.
The Control Panel Does Not Display Any Control Commands¶
When controlling a certain type of device or site, after clicking the Control button, the control panel does not display any control commands.
Cause¶
The possible causes are as follows.
- Cause 1: No control rules have been configured for this device type.
- Cause 2: This device type is not authorized for the target application and the application has not obtained asset access permissions.
Solution¶
For the two reasons above, the corresponding solutions are as follows.
- Contact the asset administrator to configure rules for this device type.
- Contact the application administrator to authorize assets access to the application.
