Querying Control Logs


Users can use Control Log to query specific information about control command, including: request time, control object, control command, control status, execution result and operators.


Prerequisites


Before starting, make sure:

  • The current account has been assigned the required asset permissions, operation permissions, and menu groups including Control Log. If not assigned, contact the application administrator.
  • Already understand the structure of the control log panel. For more information, see Exploring the Control Panel.


Procedure


  1. Log in to EnOS Application Portal, and select Fleet Control in the application list.

  2. Select Control Log in the left navigation bar, and then select the target Site and Device in Asset Range Filter.

  3. Filter through using the following methods to quickly locate the target control command.

    • Enter a start date and an end date in the time filter fields.
    • Enter a specific operator or request ID in the search box.
    • Check Execution Succeeded/Execution Failed in “Result” in the table header to view the log information.
  4. The page displays the detailed information of the target control command in list form. Click any field in the target control command. The log details page expands on the right side of the page. Execution Succeeded/Execution Failed log expands the corresponding control request event stream by default.

  5. Query the specific operation information of the control command on the log details page.

    • Description : The status of the control request execution and the specific reason for failure.
    • Execution description: Expand the control object to see a detailed event description of the control request execution process.


    Control Type Viewable Information
    Single Control Basic Information: Display site, control status, control command, control value, control object, request time, control point, operator, and other information.
    Execution Details: The control event flow, showing the request time, execution subject, execution description, and so on of all specific control operations.
    Batch Control Basic Information: Display site, control status, control command, control value, control object, request time, control point, operator, and other information.
    In Progress List: Display the devices being controlled in the current control operation.
    Execution Succeeded List: Display the successfully controlled devices in the current control operation.
    Execution Failed List: Display the devices that have failed to be controlled in the current control operation.
    Click Retry in the lower left corner to batch retry all failed control commands. The button will only take effect when all control requests are executed, that is, when the In Progress list shows 0.
    After a retry, click Control Record on the right side of the target device in the Execution Failed list to query historical retry records.
