Managing Active Alarm Records

On the Active Alarm page, you can select and view active alarm records within 3 months and export alarm records.

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure the current account has been assigned the required asset permissions, operation permissions, and a menu group, including Active Alarm. If not assigned, contact the OU administrator.

Viewing the Alarm Record List

  1. Select Active Alarm in the left navigation bar to access the Active Alarm page.

  2. If there are multiple site types in the current OU, you need to switch the Site Type tab at the top of the page to view the alarm list of the current site type.

Or, you can view the alarm list directly after selecting Active Alarm.

  3. EnOS Alarm Management supports filtering alarm records under the specific site type based on the following filters:

    Filter

    Description

    Site

Select the specific site of the current site type. You can select multiple sites, otherwise all sites are selected by default.

    Alarm Group

Select the group type that corresponds to the current site type. You can select multiple groups, otherwise, all groups are selected by default.
If there are multiple group types of the current site type and all groups are selected, the filters of Alarm Severity and Alarm Type are invalid.

    Alarm Severity

Select the alarm severity of the current group type. You can select multiple sites, otherwise all severities are selected by default.

    Alarm Type

Select the alarm type or subtype of the current group type. You can select multiple sites, otherwise all types are selected by default.

    Note

Since the field name of “Site” is configurable, it may cause a discrepancy between the field name displayed on the page and the field name in this document. If you need to modify the field name, contact the app developer.

  4. Click Query to filter alarm records that match the filters.

  5. To configure the display order of the fields in the alarm list and whether these fields are displayed, click Column Settings Figure: Column Settings in the upper right corner of the alarm list.

    Note

After you click OK in Column Settings, the configuration applies only to the current page. To retain the configuration, click Save as Template.

  6. To display the start and end time of alarm records according to the time zones of sites that triggered alarms, enable the Show Local Time option.

To display the start and end time of alarm records according to the time zone of your current computer’s browser, disable the Show Local Time option.

    Note

The Timezone column displays the time zones of sites that triggered alarms. Data in this column does not vary whether or not the Show Local Time option is enabled.

  7. To save the filters and list configuration of the current page, click Save as Template Figure: Save as Template at the top right of the page, select a Template Type in the drop-down panel, and then click Save. The next time you access this page, the saved filters and list configuration are loaded automatically.

    • Template Type: Select OU Template or My Template. An OU template applies to all users in the current OU, while my template applies only to the current account. If the current account has not been assigned the operation permission required for saving an OU template, only My Template is available.

    • A template saves the selected filters, the Show Local Time option, the Aggregate By option, the columns displayed in the list and their order, the column widths, and the sorting of the list.

    • Templates are saved separately for each site type. Under the same site type, only one configuration is saved for each template type, and saving again overwrites the saved configuration.

    • If both an OU template and my template exist, My Template takes effect first.

    • To delete a saved template, select the corresponding Template Type in the drop-down panel, click Restore, and then confirm in the pop-up window. Only the template of the selected template type is deleted. If no template of the other template type exists, the default view is displayed the next time you access this page.

Viewing Aggregated Alarm Record List

  1. Select Active Alarm in the left navigation bar to access the Active Alarm page.

  2. Select the Aggregate By drop-down box in the upper right corner of the alarm list of the current site type, then select whether you want to aggregate and display alarm records by Device or Alarm Rule.

    • Aggregate By: Device: Alarm records generated by the same device with start times within 30 minutes are aggregated and displayed.

    • Aggregate By: Alarm Rule: Alarm records that trigger the same alarm rule with start times within 30 minutes are aggregated and displayed.
