Managing Alarm List Fields


On the Alarm Config page, you can configure aliases and the display order of fields in Alarm Management and associated emails and SMS messages.

Prerequisites


Before starting, make sure the current account has been assigned the menu group containing Alarm Config. If not assigned, contact the application administrator.

Creating a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
  2. Select New, and then in Basic Information enter the following information:
    • Configuration Name: Enter the name of the field configuration.
    • Enable Global Configuration: Select whether to enable the function. If enabled, field aliases take effect on pages with the configured fields; if disabled, field aliases take effect on pages under the selected site type.
  3. In Object Configuration > Site Type, select the Site Type the alarm list belong .
  4. In Alias Settings > Field Alias Settings, select Internationalization icon global_icon to enter or modify the internationalized names of the fields. The field names in the list are displayed in the same language as the current OU. For example, if the language of the current OU is in English, the modified English name will be displayed in the field.
  5. In Display Settings > Field Display Settings, select the drag icon Figure: Drag to change the order of the fields in the alarm list by drag and drop. Otherwise, Add Field can be selected to add fields to the alarm list.
  6. Select Save to create the field configuration.

Note

One filed configuration rule can be configured for one site type.


After configuring field rules, the rules can be viewed in the field configuration list.

Enable the Global Configuration


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
  2. Enable Global Configuration to make field aliases in a configuration rule take effect on the Alarm Management pages that contain these fields.

Note

Only one global configuration can be configured for one OU.

Editing a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
  2. Select Edit in the target field configuration rule row.

Duplicating a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
  2. Select Duplicate in the target field configuration rule row to edit in the duplicated field configuration rule.

Deleting a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar and access the Field Configuration tab by default.
  2. Select Delete in the target field configuration rule row. Field configuration rules cannot be restored once deleted.
