Alarm Notifications View


  • Active alarms configured with the pop-up notification can be received and viewed in the pop-up window.

  • Active alarms configured with email or SMS notifications can be received and viewed by email or SMS.

Prerequisites


Before starting, make sure you have the following ready:

  • To receive and view alarm notifications in pop-up windows, please ensure that:

    • A pop-up alarm notification rule has been configured for alarms. If not configured, contact the asset administrator.

    • The current account has assigned the required asset permissions. If not assigned, contact the application administrator.

  • If you want to receive and view alarm notifications in emails and SMS messages, please ensure that email and SMS alarm notification rules have been configured for alarms and that the current account has been set as the recipient of alarm notifications. If not configured, contact the asset administrator.

Viewing in Pop-Ups


  1. Select the bell button bell_icon in the upper right corner of EnOS Application Portal.

  2. Select Alarm Management on the left side of Notifications to view information of active alarms, including alarm contents, alarm severities, alarm types, and asset types.

  3. To view alarm details, select the target alarm record and access the details tab to view.


If the alarm record in the pop-up is configured with an acknowledgment response rule, hover over the target alarm record in the pop-up window and click ACK to acknowledge it.

Viewing by Email/SMS


  1. You can view alarm notifications by email or by SMS. The emails and SMS messages contains information such as alarm contents, alarm severities, alarm types, and asset types.

  2. If you want to view the associated alarms or handle the alarms, click the link in the email or SMS to access the Active Alarm page for follow-up actions.
