Defining and Configuring Dimension Tables

A dimension refers to a specific perspective from which to observe and evaluate data, and is a certain type of attribute of things, such as geographic dimensions (including countries, regions, and provinces). A dimension table is a collection of all attribute information from a certain dimension. You can define the structure of the dimension table in managing a dimension definition, configure data for attributes in the dimension table in managing a dimension configuration, and view dimension synchronization tasks in Managing Dimension Tasks and Instances.
