Application Scenarios¶

EnOS Metric Management can be applied to the following scenarios.

Dimension Modeling¶

Metric Management can free application creators from repeated extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Application creators can use low-code modeling tools to directly connect multiple data sources, build a unified database model for business data, and design and create dimension tables and fact tables based on their business needs to quickly analyze and query data.

Standardized Definition of Metrics¶

In the process of digital transformation, enterprises accumulate a large volume of business metrics, but this metric data are difficult to be used reasonably. Application creators can standardize the definition and management of metrics in Metric Management, standardize the metric scope based on dimension tables and fact tables, and make massive volumes of metrics searchable, manageable, and usable. In addition, Metric Management accumulates standard metrics to help enterprises quickly build a metric system.

Metric Query¶

Application creators can quickly query metric data by Metric Insights, and can also use the Open API provided by Metric Management to quickly obtain metrics under different business needs to make better business decisions. Metric Management also provides a JDBC (Java DataBase Connectivity) connection method to directly connect with BI tools to help enterprises quickly build terminal monitoring systems.
