Data Federation Resource¶
The data federation service provides application developers and data analysts with data query and file writing services for heterogeneous data storage systems. In accordance with the SQL grammar standards, hybrid query that is based on panoramic data can be achieved without worrying about the different query languages of various data systems.
Through simple configurations, you can quickly write local files to various storage systems. The data federation service can also support OData and JDBC connections, helping you to quickly connect to mainstream BI analysis tools such as Tableau and PowerBI without worrying about different source data storage systems. For more information, see Data Federation.
Resource Application Scenario¶
You need to apply for the Data Federation resource before you can create a new data federation channel. Different resource specifications correspond to different processing capabilities and each resource can only be associated with one channel at any one time.
The data federation resource specification defines the computing capability for the data federation jobs. If the CPU usage is high, choose a higher specification.
Note
The maximum number of resource instances that can be applied for under each OU is 1.
Resource Specification¶
The Data Federation resource can be requested based on computing units (CU). You can request the appropriate computing resource according to the characteristics of the data federation jobs (1 - 20 CU).

Available options are 1 - 1000 CU by default. |
