Viewing Firmware Statistics


The firmware statistics feature provide users with a real-time overview of device firmware upgrade status. Users can effectively monitor the operational status of their devices and make informed decisions to optimize their business operations.

Use Cases

  • Firmware upgrade personnel can leverage the firmware statistics dashboard to track the progress of specific firmware versions or batches. They can focus on key metrics such as upgrade duration, success rate, and reasons for upgrade failures.
  • Those who purchase firmware from suppliers can utilize the firmware statistics dashboard to evaluate the quality of firmware provided by specific vendors. They can pay particular attention to the success rate of firmware upgrades from these vendors

Prerequisite

Ensure that you have the permissions for reading firmware. If not, contact your OU administrator. See Policies, Roles, and Permissions.

Procedure

  1. In EnOS Management Console, select OTA Upgrades > Firmware Statistics.
  2. Select a Firmware, Product, Vendor and Model No. that you wish to view in firmware statistics from the drop-down.
  3. To obtain the latest results, you can click the Refresh button.

Chart Explanation


In the Device Upgrade card, you can view the firmware upgrade success rate and the number of device upgrades to evaluate the effectiveness and scope of the upgrade.

In the Firmware Upgrade Details card, you can view the distribution of device upgrade statuses for selected firmware, which helps track each stage of the upgrade process to ensure smooth upgrades and promptly identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

In the Sucessful Device Upgrade Duration card, you can view the distribution of successful upgrade times for selected firmware, which allows you to evaluate the performance of the upgrade process and help optimize upgrade efficiency [1].

In the Failure Reasons card, you can view the distribution of failure reasons for device upgrades for selected firmware, which helps identify the reasons behind upgrade failures.
