Managing Alarm List Fields


On the Alarm Config page, you can configure aliases and the display order of fields in Alarm Management and associated emails and SMS messages.

Prerequisites


Before starting, make sure that The current account has been assigned the menu group containing Alarm Config. If not assigned, contact the application administrator.

Creating a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config, in the left navigation bar, which takes you to the Field Configuration tab by default.

  2. Select New Configuration, and then in General Information, enter Configuration Name of the field.

  3. Enter the following information in the Object Configuration column:

    • Feature: Select the feature page of the alarm list. You can select Active Alarm or Alarm Log.

    • Site Type: Select the Site Type of the alarm list.

  4. Edit the display name of the field in the Field Configuration column, and edit the display order and quantity of fields:

    • Select Add Field to add the selected field to the alarm list.

    • Select Delete Figure: Delete to delete fields one by one, or select the fields to be deleted and select Batch Delete on the upper right.

    • Select Internationalization global_icon to modify the field’s Simplified Chinese and English names.

      • If the language of the current OU is Chinese, the modified Simplified Chinese name will be displayed in the field of the alarm list on the feature page.

      • If the language of the current OU is English, the modified English name will be displayed in the field of the alarm list on the feature page.

    • Select the drag icon Figure: Drag to change the order of the fields in the alarm list by drag and drop.

  5. Select Save to create the field configuration.


After configuring field rules:

  • The rules can be viewed in the field configuration list on the alarm config page.

  • The application user with the current account assigned to the menu group containing Active Alarm/Alarm Log can view and edit the fields in the alarm list on the active alarm/alarm log page.

Editing a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar, which takes you to the Field Configuration tab by default.

  2. Select Edit in the target field configuration rule row.

Copying a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar, which takes you to the Field Configuration tab by default.

  2. Select Duplicate in the target field configuration rule row to edit in the duplicated field configuration rule.

Deleting a Field Configuration Rule


  1. Select Alarm Config in the left navigation bar, which takes you to the Field Configuration tab by default.

  2. Select Delete in the target field configuration rule row. Field configuration rules cannot be restored once deleted.
