Managing OTA Jobs


You can search for, manually enable and disable, view the status of and delete OTA jobs in the OTA Jobs page. This section shows you how to perform the various operations.

Prerequisites


Ensure that you have obtained the Developer role to have the access to Application Portal > Developer Console. If not, contact your OU administrator.

Searching for OTA Jobs


  1. In Application Portal > Developer Console, select Operation Monitoring > OTA Jobs.

  2. You can select your search criteria from the following filters. Once selected, the list will be updated.

    • Job Name: Enter a job name.

    • Firmware: Select a firmware from the drop-down list. The list of firmware are the firmware that are created in the Firmware Details tab.

    • Job Type: Select a job type, Verification or Upgrade, or All for both verification and upgrade jobs.

    • Product: Select a product from the drop-down list or All Products for all products.

    • Job Status: Select a job status, Enabled or Disabled, or All for both statuses.

Enabling and Disabling OTA Jobs


  1. In the Developer Console of EnOS Application Portal, select Operations Monitoring > OTA Jobs.

  2. In the job list, select the Enable/Disable enable switch to enable or disable the OTA job.

  3. Confirm in the pop-up window.

After disabling the job, all devices associated with that job will be in the Upgrade Failed state. After enabling the job, it will resume execution.

Viewing OTA Job Details


  1. In the Developer Console of EnOS Application Portal, select Operation Monitoring > OTA Jobs.

  2. In the job list, select the View Details details button corresponding to the job to enter the job details page. For more information, see Viewing Upgrade Details.

Deleting OTA Jobs


  1. In the Developer Console of EnOS Application Portal, select Operation Monitoring > OTA Jobs.

  2. In the job list, select the Delete delete button corresponding to the job.

  3. Click Delete in the pop-up window. The job will be removed from the list.


Note

  • Once an OTA job is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

  • OTA jobs that are currently running, i.e. being verified or in the process of upgrading, cannot be deleted. You need to disable the OTA job first before deleting it.
