Deleting Firmware¶
For the firmware versions that do not need maintenance any more, you can delete their firmware information in EnOS.
If the firmware has an associated upgrade job with the status Pending or Upgrading, the firmware cannot be deleted.
Prerequisites¶
Ensure that you have completed Adding Firmware.
Ensure that you have obtained the Developer role to have the access to Application Portal > Developer Console. If not, contact your OU administrator.
Note
Before deleting any firmware, confirm that this firmware is no longer needed. You cannot recover the firmware once it is deleted.
Procedure¶
Log in to EnOS Application Portal > Developer Console, and select Operation Monitoring > Firmware Management.
Select the Delete button for the firmware to be deleted.
Click Delete
in the confirmation pop-up to complete the deletion.
Note
If a device is upgrading this version’s firmware, it cannot be deleted.
