Tag


The tag filter displays predefined filter options in a row of tags respectively.

Configure the tag filter by following these steps:

  1. Select the Enable “Select All” checkbox to display “All” as a filter option.

  2. From the Default Selection list, select the value to be displayed as the default option.

    Note

    Not applicable to global filters

  3. From the Option Type list, select one of the following options:

    • Self-defined: Manually define the filtering value. If Self-defined is selected:

      1. Select Add to add a new filter option.
      2. In the Name column, specify the name of the filter option.
      3. In the Value column, specify the filtering value.
    • From Data Source: Choose the filtering variable and value from a data source. If From Data Source is selected:

      1. Select the data source.

      2. Select the dataset.

      3. In the Name column, select the data field that holds the names of the filter options. These names will be displayed to the users.

      4. In the Value column, select the data field that holds the filtering values. These values are used by DTV for filtering.

  4. In Linked Data Fields, for each selected data field, select the corresponding condition to satisfy.


Note

If Enable “Select All” is not selected but All is selected for Default Selection, users cannot reset the filter after selecting another filtering value.
