About Device Data Integration Service

EnOS Device Data Integration Service is a cloud service that accelerates device data integration using an intuitive visual environment and enables users to design and build scalable solutions for device data integration in the cloud. Users can use it to schedule, automate, and orchestrate integration flows to integrate device data across enterprises or organizations.

Main Features

  • Flow Designer: simplify complex processes and build and manage flows from start-to-finish by using the designer through the browser in EnOS Application Portal > Developer Console and add any number of nodes from the built-in node library.

  • Integration Agent: manage flows that are created in the cloud and remotely deployed on-premise. Note: To manage flows in the cloud, there must be internet connection.

  • Integration Templates: fast creation of flows from templates without the need to design from scratch.

  • Dashboard: gives a holistic view of integration flow statistics.

User and Permissions

Device Data Integration Service is primarily designed for roles such as System Integrators, Device Connectivity Engineers, and Application Developers. By providing a low-code development environment and visual O&M tools, it helps enterprises achieve rapid ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and cross-system transmission of heterogeneous device data.

The specific responsibilities of these roles are as follows:

  • Device Connectivity Engineer: Responsible for configuring communication protocols (such as MQTT, HTTP, Modbus) to ingest data from physical devices or third-party systems into the EnOS platform.

  • Data Integration Expert: Responsible for designing data flow logic, writing scripts for data cleansing and format conversion, and ensuring that data conforms to the EnOS standard model.

  • O&M Administrator: Responsible for monitoring the running status of integration flows, viewing logs, handling alerts, and managing the deployment and upgrade of site nodes.

Before using Device Data Integration Service, ensure that your account has been assigned the Developer role in EnOS Application Portal. If not, contact your OU Administrator for assignment.
