Deleting Firmware¶
For the firmware versions that do not need maintenance any more, you can delete their firmware information in EnOS.
This section shows how to delete a firmware.
Prerequisite¶
Ensure that you have completed Uploading Firmware.
Ensure that you have the permissions for deleting firmware. If not, contact your OU administrator. See Policies, Roles, and Permissions.
Note
Before deleting any firmware, confirm that this firmware is no longer needed. You cannot recover the firmware once it is deleted.
Procedure¶
Log in to EnOS Management Console, and select OTA Upgrades > Firmware Management.
Select the Delete icon for the firmware to be deleted.
Click Delete in the confirmation pop-up to complete the deletion.
Note
If a device is upgrading this version’s firmware, it cannot be deleted.
Results¶
The deleted firmware is no longer listed in OTA Upgrades > Firmware Management.
