Managing OTA Jobs¶
You can search for, manually start and stop, view the status of and delete OTA jobs in the OTA Jobs page. This section shows you how to perform the various operations.
Prerequisite¶
Ensure that you have the permissions for reading OTA (for the searching OTA jobs), controlling OTA (for starting, stopping and retrying OTA jobs), and deleting OTA (for deleting jobs). If not, contact your OU administrator. See Policies, Roles, and Permissions.
Searching for OTA Jobs¶
Select Device Management > OTA Upgrades > OTA Jobs.
You can select your search criteria from the following filters. Once selected, the list will be updated.
Firmware: Select a firmware from the drop-down list. The list of firmware are the firmware that are created in the Firmware Details tab.
Job Type: Select a job type, Verification or Upgrade, or All for both verification and upgrade jobs.
Product: Select a product from the drop-down list or All Products for all products.
Job Status: Select a job status, Started or Stopped, or All for both statuses.
Other than the above, you can also search for a job by entering its job name on the right.
Starting and Stopping OTA Jobs¶
Toggle the Start/Stop switch to manually start or stop an OTA job.
Click Confirm in the pop-up window to proceed.
Viewing OTA Job Details¶
Click View Details for the OTA job that you wish to view the status of. For more information, see Viewing OTA Job Details.
Deleting OTA Jobs¶
Click Delete for the OTA job you wish to delete.
Click Confirm in the pop-up window to deleted the job. The job will be removed from the list.
Note
Once an OTA job is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
OTA jobs that are currently running, i.e. being verified or in the process of upgrading, cannot be deleted. You need to stop the OTA job first before deleting it.
