Managing Sub-Administrators¶
Sub-administrators can manage user permissions by assigning roles, assets permission, and other aspects within the management scope assigned by the OU administrator. By designating sub-administrators and assigning management permissions to sub-administrators, OU administrator can increase the efficiency for managing the current OU.
This article introduces how OU administrators designate sub-administrators and manage the permission of sub-administrators.
Designating a Sub-Administrator¶
Select Sub-Administrator from the left navigation pane of the Admin Console.
Select Add Sub-Administrator.
In the Select User > Sub-Administrator section, enter the username to search for the user that you want to assign as a sub-administrator.
Select Manageable Scope > Add Assignment Method to determine the users and assets that the sub-administrator can manage, supporting
Organization Structure
,User Group
andRole
.Select the organization structures, user groups or roles that the sub-administrator can manage from the dropdown list. Sub-administrators can manage the specified organization structures, user groups, or roles, as well as related assets and users in the Admin Console of Application Portal.
In the Administrative Rights > Available Capabilities section, assign to sub-administrator the following permissions:

Note
Sub-administrators can manage the assets in the organization structure and user groups specified in the Manageable Scope.
Sub-administrators can manage the users in the organization structure and user groups specified in the Manageable Scope and the users created by themselves.
Configuring the Management Scope and Permission of Sub-Administrators¶
Select Sub-Administrator from the left navigation pane of the Admin Console.
In the sub-administrator list, select the Manage of the target sub-administrator.
Change the scope and permissions in sub-administrator detail page.
Select Submit.
Removing Sub-Administrators¶
Select Sub-Administrator from the left navigation pane of the Admin Console.
In the sub-administrator list, select the Remove of the target sub-administrator.
Select Confirm on the popup window.
