Auditing on EnOS¶
Auditing allows OU administrators to trace the resource access activities of all users and applications in EnOS. For example, the activity where an OU administrator created a new user at a specific time will be logged into the system for query.
Objectives of Auditing¶
Auditing helps OU administrators achieve the following objectives:
Security analysis: When security issues occur for accounts and resources, the activity log can help you diagnose the cause of the issues. An event record is created for each user or resource activity. It contains comprehensive information such as who accessed which resource at what time and what operations were performed. These data will help you identify security risks and violations.
Resource dynamics tracing: Traces resource change abnormalities. For example, when a resource is deleted and all user accounts that are assigned this resource cannot access the relevant resources, you can trace who performed this action through the activity log.
Querying Audit Records¶
OU administrators can view the audit events of the OU in EnOS Application Portal > Admin Console > Audit Log page. For more information, see Querying Audit Records.
