Managing Quality Rules¶
This section details how to create quality rules for each measurement point according to device model, using the Quality Rules page of the Edge portal.
Create Quality Rules¶
Before You Start¶
Make sure you have created devices and models in the EnOS Management Console.
Procedures¶
Log in to the EnOS Management Console, then select Quality Rules from the left navigation bar.
Click New Rule, fill in the rule name on the rule detail page, and select the corresponding model and measurement point.
Enter the threshold range for timestamp ahead, delayed timestamp, and stale data check. See Configuration Item.
In the list of measurement points under Measurement Point Settings, click on the right side of the specified measurement point to turn on the quality detail switch that requires testing.
In the same list of measurement points, click the edit button of the specified measurement point, then set the out-of-limit threshold range of the measurement point in the following pop-up box. See Configuration Item.
Define the validity of the quality detail in Validity Mapping. After defining the quality details, it is necessary to map them to a validity for subsequent support of validity statistics. See Configuration Items for default values.
Note
If multiple quality issues occur on the same data (advance timestamp, delayed timestamp, out-of-limit, and stale data), detail quality marked as invalid takes precedence over that marked as questionable.
Click OK to complete creation.
Configuration Items¶
Detail Quality |
Description |
Threshold Default |
DQ Mapping Default |
---|---|---|---|
Timestamp Ahead |
If the range of the data timestamp ahead is greater than the set threshold, the system will determine the timestamp ahead |
30 mins |
invalid |
Delayed Timestamp |
If the range of the data delayed timestamp is greater than the set threshold, the system will determine the delayed timestamp |
30 mins |
questionable |
Over-limit |
If the data of the specified measurement point is not within the set threshold range, the system will determine the over-limit |
None |
questionable |
Refresh Fail |
Set the refresh interval to detect whether the data of the specified measurement point is failing to refresh |
5 mins |
invalid |
Edit Quality Rules¶
Log in to the EnOS Management Console, then select Quality Rules from the left navigation bar.
Click the name of the quality rule to enter the rule detail page to make changes.
Click OK to save your changes. The updated quality rules will take effect for all associated Edge devices.
Delete Quality Rules¶
Log in to the EnOS Management Console, then select Quality Rules from the left navigation bar.
Click the Delete button.
Note
To delete the quality rules that have been associated with Edge devices, go to Edge Management > Edge Detail Page > Quality Rules to delete the corresponding quality rules.
