Alert Management

The EnOS Edge Alert services enable the user to create, receive and process alerts for the organization assets. The service allows the user to define the alert triggering conditions based on assets data to achieve real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.

An Alert Record generated by the system when certain conditions defined by the user are fulfill. For example, if the measurement point has exceeded the specified threshold, an Alert Record will be generated.

Features

Here are the features of EnOS Edge alert service:

  • Support advanced alert scenarios

  • Support cross-model multi-measurement points and expressions to config alert rules

Application

EnOS Edge alert service can be applied in the folowing scenarios:

  • Using threshold-based alert rule for Device abnormal detection.

  • Using state-change based alert rule for Device states change incident.

  • Alert based on analysis result: Using stream processing results trigger alert.

  • Using cross-model multi-measurement points and expressions to config alarm rules for more complex alarm rules based on physical relationship among devices and measurements points.

  • Using Advanced alert rules for alert masking based on asset tree. ## Key Concepts

Alert Severity

Define the alert priority, the level of severity (such as danger, critical, error, warning and information)

Alert Type

The classification of the alerts, which can be defined based on the asset type and business requirements (such as Measurement Point exceed limit)

Alert Content

Define the alert in detail.

Alert Rules

Define the condition to trigger the alert.
