EnOS Edge 2.4.6 Release (2023/09/30) introduces the following new features and enhancements.

Edge Logger

We improved the following capabilities for Edge Logger.

New Hardware Models

  • New release LCU and HPU Lite

  • New 4G cat 1 DTU

Installer APP Improvements

  • Support data forwarding to the energy management system

  • Support Sun Spec device auto-discovery

Performance Improvements

  • Support data integration with third-party cloud platforms

  • Enhanced Logger networking capability. When the LAN network fails, you can switch to 4G network instead

Third-party application support

  • Provide a Python version of the standard SDK to support third-party application development

Edge IIoT Gateway

  • Support one-stop fast onboarding, which means Domestic zone 1 site data can be collected on security zone 1 and be sent data to both 3rd party system and EnOS cloud across the network net gap

  • Support sending data to multiple EnOS Clouds, such as sending data to both regional and corporate EnOS Cloud

  • Support standardized Edge pre-deployment for all-in-one machines when Edge SW is pre-installed

  • Support metric monitoring for Edge devices in Security Zone 1

Edge Extensive

  • Support using the RTSP protocol to capture blade sound

  • The EE application empowerment module supports high availability (HA)

Edge as a Service

  • Support monitoring all the Edge devices statuses in the whole OU in Edge Dashboard

  • Support monitoring single Edge device status and resources through the Edge Monitoring service

  • Support proactively detecting and identifing operational risks of Edge devices through the Edge Alarm service

  • Support proactively detecting and identifing operational risks of Edge applications through the Edge Monitoring service

  • Support managing the deployment and upgrade of the third-party applications

Edge Platform

  • Passed IEC 62443-4-1 international security certification

  • Passed State Grid Electric Power Research Institute Information Security Certification (enhanced level)

  • Enhanced hardware security with secure boot and secure storage

  • Support data connectivity to multiple cloud platforms, including third-party clouds

  • Support device local monitoring, fleet control on edge,and domestic net gap reverse controlling. These can be applied to scenarios such as a microgrid or a park.
