EnOS Edge Products¶
EnOS Edge includes 5 kinds of product series. EnOS Edge Logger, EnOS Edge IIoT Gateway and EnOS Edge Extensive are standard product series, which can be applied to the device onboarding and control in general scenarios. The application comparison is shown below:
Moreover, Edge Building Gateway is the typical product series, which can be applied to the building-specfic scenarios, focuses on the building HVAC control (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and supports time sequence control. For more information, see “Edge Building Gateway” in this topic.
EnOS Edge Sensor Gateway¶
EnOS Edge Sensor Gateway, based on ARM architecture, is the light-weight gateway of EnOS Edge. It integrates softwares with hardwares.
EnOS Edge Sensor Gateway can be applied to collect the domain-specific data. For example:
Collect lift data using Lift Sensor Gateway
Collect the sense data of fans using Wind Sensor Gateway
Edge Sensor Gateway series can be divided into Lift Sensor Gateway, Wind Sensor Gateway and EnOS Edge Building Gateway based on the following scenarios:

Industrial parks
Smart cities
EnOS Edge Extensive¶
EnOS Edge Extensive is the smart and high-performance edge server of EnOS Edge. It is X86-based and of distributed deployment.
It can be applied to local edge computing scenarios that require:
Mid- or large-scale multi-site monitoring
Alert management
Alert control
Data analysis
EnOS Edge Building Gateway¶
EnOS Edge Building Gateway is the light-weight gateway of EnOS Edge. It can be applied as the network control unit for building device management.
It provides the following capabilities:
Connect to EnOS system for centralized management and control in Building Management System (BMS).
Optimize the running mode between the building sub-system and devices using EnOS AI and machine learning for lower energy consumption and a more comfortable and safer environment.
Compared with traditional building network controller, it has the following advantages:
Smooth user experience leads to quick work flow for engineering configuration.
Open software platform for eco-partners to develop applications.
Comprehensive protocols of public or private building devices and sub-systems.
Function List¶
In the table below, √ represents that the feature can run on this Edge model. × means that the feature cannot run on this Edge model. Partial represents that the feature is not fully applicable.
The hardware configuration of each Edge product needs to be determined by the solution architect based on features needed and access capacity, etc case by case.
