Zeppelin Notebook Overview


Appache Zeppelin provides a web-based notebook for data synchronization, discovery, analytics, and visualization. It supports multiple data processing engines, such as Spark, Hive, Python, Shell, and Markdown, providing a unified data analytics environment for data engineers and scientists using different programming languages.


Zeppelin provides built-in Apache Spark integration with automatic SparkContext and SQLContext injestion. You do not need to build a separate module, plugin, or library for it.


Zeppelin Notebook enables data-driven, interactive data analytics, and collaborative documents that can be shared among users.
